Trip A: Nordic center in Planica (guided)

A brief bus journey will transport us from Kranjska Gora to the Planica Nordic Centre, nestled at the entrance of a picturesque mountain valley. During our guided tour, we will have the opportunity to visit the museum, housing a priceless collection that embodies Slovenia's rich sporting history. Delving into the realm of world-class ski jumping, we will discover the stories of legendary athletes, witness the technical evolution of the jumping hill, and explore the various equipment used throughout different eras.

In addition, we will ascend 202 meters to the apex of the flying hill via a chairlift, treating ourselves to breathtaking panoramas while marveling at the audacity of ski jumpers. For those seeking an extra thrill, an optional Planica zipline experience awaits, allowing participants to "fly" above the jumping hill from the summit. Please note that this exhilarating option incurs an additional cost of 10 EUR per participant.

It's worth noting that you may have some spare time to spend in Planica, which presents an ideal opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the scenic Tamar valley.

Included: English-speaking guide, transportation, admission to the Nordic center.
Do not forget: your camera, comfortable shoes.
Additional option: try the zipline at an additional cost of 10 EUR

Trip B: Bled (by bus)

The picturesque town of Bled is renowned for its enchanting features, including a church situated on an island within a lake, a medieval castle perched atop a cliff overlooking the lake, and stunning vistas of the surrounding Alpine peaks.

Our journey from Kranjska Gora to Bled will take approximately 40 minutes by bus. Upon arrival, we will explore the castle, where you can marvel at the captivating views of the lake and its charming island. As you take in the awe-inspiring scenery, you will be treated to a slice of the renowned Slovenian dessert, "kremšnita," a delightful combination of vanilla custard and cream.

Furthermore, you will have some leisure time to discover the captivating wonders of Bled at your own pace. We recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the lake's perimeter to fully appreciate its breathtaking beauty.

Included: English-speaking guide, transportation, admission to Bled Castle.
Do not forget: your camera, comfortable shoes.

Organizers’ perspective

While it is undeniable that the views from the Castle are stunning, it is important to acknowledge that Bled is susceptible to the challenges commonly associated with popular tourist destinations. Although the organizers do not hold an overly enthusiastic stance on this excursion option, we have made the decision to include it due to the iconic status that Bled holds within the Slovenian tourism industry.
